TRÊS LAGOAS Power Project consists
of the implementation of the a combined-cycle gas fired power plant
in TRÊS LAGOAS,MS State in the border with S.Paulo State and was built by
Consórcio PROMON/ODEBRECHT in a turn key basis for PETROBRÁS, Brazil,
owner and 100% investor of the project.
The first stage of the plant consists in 04 combustion turbines 60MW GE/ALSTOM
in operation since 2003 in open cycle and more 02 steam turbines that when
added will allow UTE TRÊS LAGOAS to operate in combined cycle 4x2
producing 360MW
For this project,due short and fast track delivery required in order quick
start plant operation because of energy crisis in Brazil in 2001/2002 the
Isolated Phase Bus were designed in Brazil by Powerbus and manufactured
in Calvert Company factory in Jackson,USA.
Powerbus also performed contract management in Brazil and renderedd all
site services for this project,including welding and erection supervision
of IPB's and aluminum welding of bus conductors and connectors for double
busbar AIS 138kV Substation connecting the plant to National
Interconnected Grid and CTEEP power system.
Powerbus also supplied for this project 02 special designed Interrupting
Switchgear 15kV-1250A and short circuit rated 65/170kA associated with IPB's
for feeding all ancillary BOP services of the plant. |
