POWERBUS owns the most updated and advanced technology in High Current Isolated Phase and Segregated/Non Segregated Phase Bus Systems, a result of more than 35 years of professional experience in  high power current connections.

High current electrical busses are used for the transmission of great amounts of of energy from generators to step up transformers in power plants and require extreme care in the selection of solutions to be used regarding engineering & design, project planning, production, and field erection techniques in order to assure high reliability and long operational life for the bus system.
 
POWERBUS makes full use of the most advanced technical resources of Engineering, such as Finite Elements Method Analisys(with FEM-Unicamp) and the latest progress in material science development of their products.

Our engineering crew collaborates with the most important Research Centers in Brazil in equipment and materials for ultra high current electrical power transmission.

Currently POWERBUS has the record for natural cooled Isolated Phase Bus (30,000A) built for ITAIPÚ units 9A/18A and type-tested at ELETROBRÁS-CEPEL Testing Station, RJ, Brazil in march 2003.

We also cultivate relationship with Universities and Research & Technological Centers in Brazil, such as UNICAMP, USP, UFPR/LACTEC, FURB, etc. allowing us acess to vanguard scientific knowledge and advancements.
