supplying: isolated, segregated, and non-segregated phase bus systems for
the power generation and industrial segments.
Our product range covers bus systems from 600V to 38kV; rated continuous
current from 100A to 30,000A with natural cooling and up to 55,000A with
forced air cooling system design.
POWERBUS installed a brand new 2000 m2 custom designed manufacturing
factory located at SC470 Highway in Itajaí, Santa Catarina (a Southern
Brazilian State).
The factory is only 300m away from the vital commerce BR101 Highway -

POWERBUS combined production in 2003/04 was a record in South America for
IPB and bar bus manufacturing.
The PONTE DE PEDRA underground Power Plant required 2640m of Isolated
Phase Bus totalizing 2000m3 of materials transported to remote jobsite
located in Central Brazil by using 25 trucks; utilizing a specially
designed packaging system to allow transportation of sections up to 12m
long.
For the ITAIPÚ Power Plant Expansion Project we shipped 145 metric tons of
Isolated Phase Bus and associated equipment reaching a total of 3500m3 of
materials transported in 45 trucks to the jobsite located at Paraná River,
in the national border of Brazil and Paraguay.
